New Philips LCD Monitors Boast Low Power Consumption

hilips has launched the 200WS8 (20") and 220WS8 (22") widescreen LCD monitors, which claimed to have the lowest power consumption in the industry. When powered on, the monitors perform at 10% below Energy Star requirements.The monitors offer 1680 x 1050 resolution and are certified for Windows Vista, allowing you to use the operating system’s ‘sidebar’ feature for organising applications. Features include hot keys and on-screen controls, dual connections to receive both analog VGA and digital DVI signals, and a widescreen display that allows two A4 pages to be viewed side-by-side or two files to be simultaneously opened for comparison and editing. The 200WS8 and 220WS8 are both available now for approximately $400 and $660.
