'Soul Calibur Legend' Confirmed For Wii

amco Bandai is introducing a new take on its tremendously popular 3D Soul Calibur fighting game series with Soul Calibur Legends, a third- person action game developed exclusively for the Wii.Soul Calibur Legends will follow Siegfried and other Soul Calibur characters as they quest to save an empire from destruction. Using the Wii remote and nunchuk, players will perform moves and combos as they combat "scores of enemies and large bosses," according to an official statement announcing the game's development.Soul Calibur Legends, which is set for release this winter, marks the second time the weapons-based fighting series has appeared on a Nintendo platform, following 2003's release of Soul Calibur II for the GameCube, a title that included Nintendo icon Link as a selectable character.
